So, at its heart this is a WordPress blog. That’s great because WordPress is the premier blogging system that all of the top-level bloggers use. It’s very easy to use and very intuitive when you are creating content.
You can access your blog either through the Empower Network back office or directly through the admin URL.
This is how you get there through the back office screen:
You click the green button to the right and then you are taken to the blog.
If you want to go direct without going through the EN back office, you just go to the uRL in the form of www.empowernetwork.com/yourID/wp-admin

Now, once you are in, you start blogging. You should know what search keywords that you are targeting for each post. That is keyword research, and you should get a tool for that.
As you can see, there are lots of options in the Dashboard, and I will not go into all of them but here is where you see your posts and choose to add more. Notice that my post count is low because I choose to concentrate on my own hosted blog for other reasons, which I will mention elsewhere. Either way, once Empower Network version 2, or ENv2 is launched, the playing field between the two approaches will be leveled. So get it now before that happens! It doesn’t matter if you start now because any existing blogs will migrate over to v2 intact, so there is no reason to wait. Actually, it’s better to get in NOW and get a leg up on all of the people who will be bashing in Empower Network’s doors to get in once that happens.
Once you start blogging away, the EN WordPress is customized with an SEO (search engine optimization) bar to the right which gives you hints on how to present your keywords in the article for maximum Google love.
As you can see, Empower Network has provided you with a very easy to use system so that you can concentrate on getting started. You have to do the minimum, which is creating content around searched for keywords. You should get a tool for that, and yes there are some minimal startup costs associated with things like that, but compared to starting a new business in the traditional way, it really is almost for free.
Now, some people might ask about the cost of the Empower Network viral blogging system. Well, it is a steal, in my opinion. $25 monthly with 100% commissions paid on people who join through the ads on your blog. Even if you choose to host your own blog, you have to buy the blogging system to join Empower because that is the entry level product that you are selling, and to get a commission on ANY Empower product you first have to own it yourself. This is actually a good practice because it means the company has the money to pay commissions AND you have to be familiar with what you are selling. How can you sell something that you don’t know anything about?
Hosting your own blog will cost you for the domain name, the web hosting package, and then you have to install and set it up. It’s not hard or terribly expensive, but you will probably be spending the same amount or about the same amount as you are already spending with Empower, but you already have the blog set up, hosted, and ready to go.
It’s a pretty good deal.
So, with this system, you can literally be ready to start posting content immediately to your Empower Network viral blogging system. The keyword research tool and that research will take some initial time, but you can start posting obvious things related to internet marketing, or any topic with some sort of popularity, immediately.
